PAMPLONA - I spent almost 4 weeks in this city and I’ve seen so much. I got to know it as a very interesting city with a beautiful old town. The last weeks ran away and I feel very good here right now. My university is very good, they do a lot for their international students. I take class in communications and the tasks challenge you every week. Even Spanish class which wakes me up every morning at 7.30 (!!!) is enjoyable. And the Spanish people love to teach you Spanish if you’re interested. I spent my 24th birthday here and I’m lucky that I had such good company with my girlfriend and all the Erasmus and international students. I already took a lot of pictures here and while travelling and it’ll take some time to prepare them for the blog. By the way the picture above showes a memorial of San Fermin, the big fiesta in july better known as ‘run of the bills’.

PAMPLONA – Ich habe schon fast 4 Wochen in dieser Stadt verbracht und habe bisher sehr viel gesehen. Pamplona ist eine (teilweise) wunderschöne Stadt mit einer bezaubernden Altstadt. Die letzten Wochen sind wie im Flug vergangen und ich fühle mich sehr wohl hier! Meine Universität hier ist wirklich gut und sie kümmern sich sehr um uns internationale Studenten. Ich habe meine Seminare und Vorlesungen im Kommunikationsbereich und die kontinuierlichen Aufgaben fordern einen jede Woche aufs Neue heraus, sogar der Spanischunterricht, der mich jeden Morgen um 7:30 Uhr aus dem Bett zwingt. Erfreulicherweise habe ich erfahren, dass die Spanier es lieben mit Ausländern spanisch zu sprechen, wenn sie merken dass du interessiert bist. Ich hab hier meinen 24. Geburtstag in netter Gesellschaft meiner Freundin und all den Erasmus und Internationalen Studenten gefeiert. Ich habe bisher viele Bilder gemacht, aber es wird eine Weile dauern, bis ich sie für das Blog bearbeitet habe. Das Bild oben zeigt übrigens das Denkmal von San Fermin der großen Fiesta in Pamplona, besser bekannt als Stierlauf.

pamplona time
today i start my trip to pamplona. i’m having a erasmus term at the university of navarra. for the next 5 to 6 month i’ll live and study in spain and i’ll bring some impressions to the blog. i think i let the photos tell the words…
i’m looking forward for an interesting time of meeting lots of new people and learning spanish (we’ll see).

heute beginne ich meine reise nach pamplona. ich absolviere ein erasmus-semester an der universität von navarra. für die nächsten 5 bis 6 monate werde ich in spanien leben und studieren und ein paar eindrücke in das blog einfließen lassen. ich glaube, ich lasse die bilder sprechen …
ich freue mich auf eine interessante zeit in der ich viele neue leute kennen- und spanisch zu lernen möchte (wir werden sehen).
